Overview

We collaborated with Marks & Spencer on a campaign filmed in Lisbon — a production involving a large crew and tight scheduling. Although I joined the project fairly late in the process, I quickly embedded myself within the team and contributed a distinctive creative vision. The goal was to deliver a visually rich, style-driven film that reflects the brand’s identity and resonates with a modern, urban audience — all while capturing the spirit of Lisbon.

Challenges & Approach

Time was our main enemy. With a large team but limited shooting windows, we had to move fast and stay sharp. Coming in late meant adapting quickly to existing plans — but also offered an opportunity to inject fresh creative energy. I focused on instinctive shot selection and on leveraging Lisbon’s lighting, textures, and urban landscape to enrich the film’s visual identity. The approach blended collaborative teamwork with a director’s intuition to shape a cohesive aesthetic under pressure.

The Result

The final film presents Marks & Spencer in a fresh, warm, and stylish light — marrying brand sophistication with the character of Lisbon. My contribution ensured the visual choices felt thoughtful, composed, and aligned with the brand’s tone. Even under tight constraints and complex logistics, the project demonstrates that strong creative input and adaptability can deliver high-impact output.
