Overview

In 2020, we created a short film shot inside an abandoned house in Sintra, locally known as the Disney House. Instead of treating the location as a backdrop, we wrote the film around its atmosphere, letting the architecture and decay shape the narrative itself.

Challenges & Approach

With no permits and an extremely limited budget, production became a test of creativity and improvisation. Mid-shoot, we were discovered and forced to leave the location, requiring quick adaptation and resourceful decision-making to complete the project. These constraints ultimately sharpened our focus and pushed us to work faster and more intuitively.

The result

Despite the limitations, the film went on to win the Musicbed Challenge, receiving over €1500 in awards. We are incredibly proud of what we achieved, proof that a strong vision and determination can outperform scale and resources.
